Bank blocked from default judgments by high court, pinning notice to doors, gates insufficient

The Western Cape High Court ruled that banks like Nedbank cannot obtain default judgments by simply pinning summonses to locked doors or gates. The court held that this practice is insufficient to show proper proof of service.
